Top Spring Australia worked closely with Gold Key Building Services to develop the design and manage the construction of their high end head office fitout. The fitout reflecting our ultra-high end residential developments. There were numerous complex issues to manage in this bespoke fitout with the end product exceeding Top Spring Australia expectations resulting in Top Spring proposing a number of client events held in our residential event space within our new head office location at 201 Elizabeth Street, Sydney. I, Manu Feildel originally engaged the services of Gold Key Building Services to renovate, convert and fit out our unique new Warehouse site ‘La Botanique’ in Botany which quickly grew to include a partial rebuild due to a number of unknown latent conditions uncovered during the demolition phase of the project.
The scope of works increased throughout the complex project to include assisting in design, specifying and sourcing new products, managing service consultants and of course building works plus managing sub contractors throughout the ever changing scope of works and the added obstacles that COVID provided along the way, a stressful period for all but one made easier with an understanding builder who was willing to modify scope and design whenever required.
The end result was exactly what we had hoped for, a finished product to be proud of and an integral part of that was Gold Key Building Services and in particular Shane Stevens who was instrumental in our amazing La Botanique building.
Note: This was the second project we engaged Gold Key Building Services for, the first was an outdoor seating and dining area for our restaurant in World Square which we were also very happy with.
We highly recommend Gold Key Building Services to any potential future clients for any works but in particular demolition, remedial repairs, mezzanine floors, building works, detailed internal commercial and retail fitouts, restaurant style fitouts and fully specified commercial kitchens and cool rooms.

It is our pleasure to highly recommend Gold Key Building Services as a preferred builder. Gold Key Building Services has been instrumental in the success of our extensive apartment renovation. Throughout the course of the renovation, Shane Stevens chose and managed the sub-contractors well. He was accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project. His foreman Sasha did an excellent job monitoring all the tradesmen projects and making sure all the work carried out was compliant with Strata By-Laws as well as the NSW Covid-19 regulations. There was never any complaint from our building managers or neighbours.
Shane’s choice of Tiler, Joe was exceptional, which resulted in two beautifully tiled bathrooms. DSK Kitchens did a great job of designing our detailed custom joinery and kitchen. Zline electrical was professional and provided us with great lighting. Overall, the project team worked well and overcame a few challenges during the course of the renovation including the Covid lockdowns. We are happy to say that Gold Key Building Services exceeded our expectations and really helped to make our dream of an update, comfortable and stylish apartment come true.

When we decided to renovate our city apartment we were fortunate to be introduced to Shane Stevens, the Director and initial contact of Gold Key Building Services Pty Ltd. When he came to give the quote he was thorough in his calculations and helpful with advice whenever we had questions. Once we accepted his quote he made sure to introduce us to all the relevant tradesmen who would be working on our apartment and we were very impressed with the quality and standard of the people he contracts work to. We were first introduced to Gold Key Building Services as Architects engaged to manage the relocation of 700 staff into new premises. Gold Key performed exceptionally well, in meeting a very tight progressive delivery program of 14 weeks ie; completing and relocating 50-80 staff every weekend for the last nine weeks of the program. Gold Key’s role compasses managing removalists, workstation suppliers and loose furniture. The performance of Gold Key was so appreciated by our client that they were invited to undertake another stage of works. I have no hesitation in recommending Gold Key Building Services.
